At Hawk Management, Inc., our mission is to enhance the lives of both real estate investors and residents by providing exceptional property management solutions. Since 2013, we have been dedicated to delivering reliable, efficient, and customer-focused services that foster positive experiences for both property owners and tenants.

What We Do

We specialize in comprehensive property management services for a wide range of property types, including single-family homes, townhomes, condos, multi-family units, industrial properties, retail spaces, and office buildings. Our team works closely with real estate investors to streamline the management, leasing, buying, and selling of properties.

Ed Hochman brings over 20 years of experience in property management, beginning his career in 2003 with AIMCO at a 1,279-unit property in Woodland Hills, CA. His early roles focused on supervising maintenance teams, leasing apartments, and implementing preventative maintenance programs, earning top rankings in customer satisfaction with a perfect score in a blinded survey.

In 2004, Ed was promoted to Assistant Manager at a 279-unit, Class "A" mixed-use property in Los Angeles, where he managed leasing, resident relations, and accounts receivable/payable. In 2005, he joined Advanced Management as a Property Manager for a 206-unit property in Lakewood, CA, where he led a major rehabilitation, achieved high occupancy, increased revenue, and launched a company-wide profitable recycling program. His success led to overseeing additional properties for the ownership group.

After earning his MBA in 2010, Ed became Regional Manager at Norman Jacobson Property Management, overseeing 17 properties in Southern California. In 2013, he founded Hawk Management and obtained his broker's license in 2012.

Ed graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in Political Science from UC Irvine and holds an MBA from Loyola Marymount University. He served as Vice President and President of the Los Angeles chapter of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM) in 2020-2021.

For Hagit Karavany, few moments are as rewarding as handing the keys to a new tenant—perfectly reflecting her motto: “Choose a job you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life.” Known for her dedication and strong work ethic, Hagit’s passion for real estate allows her to guide clients effortlessly through every step of the process.

A disciplined professional, Hagit attributes much of her work ethic to her service in the Israeli army, where she developed valuable skills that she later applied in the business world. After founding and successfully running her own company, Hagit relocated to the U.S., initially settling in New York City before moving to Los Angeles nearly a decade ago.

In New York, Hagit began her real estate career focusing on rentals, but it was in Los Angeles where she truly found her niche. She joined Redfin as an independent contractor, quickly advancing to lead agent within six months, thanks to her sharp business acumen and client-centric approach. Today, Hagit continues to provide exceptional service to Southern California with a responsive, friendly style, fluent in both English and Hebrew, and a deep understanding of her diverse clientele's needs.

A true real estate enthusiast, Hagit is constantly exploring new properties, driven by her passion for the industry. Outside of work, she values time with her family and enjoys nature hikes and spontaneous trips to Mexico. A self-proclaimed animal lover, Hagit is especially devoted to her dog, toddler, and husband, always seeking balance in the great outdoors.

Jesselyn is an experienced customer service professional with a diverse background in technical support, sales, and billing. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and has extensive experience in both accounting and marketing, having previously worked in the accounting and marketing departments at Crown Asia, Inc., one of the largest real estate companies in the Philippines.

Currently, Jesselyn serves as a Virtual Assistant at Hawk Mgmt, Inc., where she manages a variety of responsibilities, including accounts payable, work orders, lease renewals, past-due account management, guest card processing, advertising, and responding to inquiries for available properties. Her exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills play a key role in ensuring smooth operations and contributing to the overall satisfaction of the company’s clients.

Outside of her professional life, Bea is an avid outdoor enthusiast, enjoying activities such as running marathons, mountain climbing, and biking. Her active lifestyle reflects her dedication to perseverance and goal-setting—qualities she consistently applies to both her personal and professional endeavors.
